Sollers Hope – St. Michael

A picture book church, even this photo looks unreal! Prominant names include Knowles, and Powell. Also Whittington - the church was reputedly financed by Robert the older brother of Dick Whittington Mayor of London in 15th Century. It is thought that Dick may well have been born in the village.
