1889, but rebuilt in the style of the original church which was circa 11th or 12th century.

the base of this font is 14th century, but the bowl is much more modern.

Thomas Prosser aged 61 died March 1845, also Ann Prosser, died February 4th 1835

Dorstone is a delightful village, and it’s claim to fame lies with Richard de Brito who was one of the Knights responsible for murdering Thomas a Becket. Richard was forced to serve 15 years punishment in exile in the Holy Land, but when he came home he built the church. His grave is in the churchyard.
